After working for others in their flower shops, in 1981 Antonia opened her own in East Hampton, Long Island. She named it Antonias Flowers. In 1982, Antonia began working with the chief perfumer of one of Americas finest essential oil houses. Antonia knew it had to be a fresh, feminine bouquet, with a signature note of freesia. Antonias artistry with flowers had at last blossomed into an exciting new perfume.
Antonias Flowers was first introduced as an Eau de Toilette in 1985. Along with Floret which was introduced in 1995 and Tiempe Passate in 1999, Antonias Flowers has ranked in the top ten of both Barneys and Bergdorfs since its original launch.
